Gallery AMBROSIANA came into existence after the so called
"velvet revolution" in 1990 and is one of private galleries with a definitely
formed programme. Right from the start it has been focused on interesting personalities in
photography, graphic arts and painting. The Gallery organized a number of exhibitions in
its own facilities, of which many were interesting and unique not only at the time of
their existence.
Let us mention some of the authors exhibited:
Photography: Jan Saudek, Tono Stano, Jan Pohribný, Vasil Stanko, Peter Župník, Josef
Sudek, Suzan Pastor, Petr Macků, Václav Jirásek, Gabina Fárová, František Drtikol...

Načeradský, Boris Jirků, Martin Velíšek, Jan Paul, Tomáš Smetana, Václav Bláha,

At the present time, the Gallery operates as an exhibition salon which partly deals also
with design on the limits of art: exhibitions of Jiří Pelcl, Bohuslav Horák, Memphis

The Gallery cooperates with many prominent Czech authors and implements accompanying
events during graphic arts exhibitions - Biennale Brno such as Seymour Chwast (U.S.A.),
